Riding again after a couple of years - 2024 Eliminator 451 (white)

Absolutely, not...no way should a legitimate dealer tell you the flashing engine light is normal, especially on a new bike just leaving with its new owner. It has NOTHING to do with warranty registration. First thing I would do is disconnect the battery to reset everything, (just disconnect the negative terminal for a couple minutes) then connect it back. Reset the clock and see if all is well. If not, go to a different Kawasaki Dealer. If there isn't one, I would contact the service manager and owner.
 
OK, this post has made me mad. This is all dealer, not the company. This is the old "here's a woman, she will believe anything we tell her, we're busy, send her on her way." The only people involved with warranty registration are the office personnel inputting your information for that bike. They can't hook it up and turn off the engine light. I wouldn't believe ANYTHING they say to you from now on, you have a great bike, go to a different Kawasaki dealer. By the way, let us know where you are and what dealer you are talking about. Page 155 of your manual has Kawasaki Motors' address and phone, contact them and tell them your experience.
